Ponoka Gymnastics is a non-profit organization, and we truly value your support through our fundraising initiatives.

As a non-profit, fundraising plays a crucial role in minimizing operational costs, acquiring new equipment, and ensuring ongoing maintenance.

Since our inception, we have had a mandatory fundraising requirement. At the beginning of each session, a $200 bond cheque was necessary, which would either be returned or destroyed after the fundraiser concluded, or cashed if the fundraising obligation was not met.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we chose not to enforce the bond cheque due to the challenging economic climate and the uncertainty of that period. Thankfully, most individuals participated in our campaigns during this time. However, since then, we have not reinstated the mandatory bond, and merely requesting participation in fundraising activities. This has led to a significant drop in the funds we raise. These funds are crucial for keeping our doors open during these economically challenging times.

We are now reintroducing the mandatory fundraising bond. The $200 bond will appear as a charge on your invoice and will be refunded upon meeting your fundraising obligations. If you prefer to provide a cheque or cash for your bond, please inform the office, and we can arrange that. Please remember that the bond must be paid no later that the first class date along with tuition.

 For those who do not wish to participate in fundraising campaign, there is a $100 buy out option.  Please contact the office for the buy out.
